ABOUT CHAMPION CITY DERBY

Champion City Alphas presents its 2nd Annual Derby Weekend May 1 – 2, 2020. Modeled after the long-running Kentucky Derby horse race, this year’s events will include multiple events at various venues. Look forward to festive experiences which will include a comedy show in addition to the Derby “Day” Party which consists of fun, food, fellowship and the watching of The Kentucky Derby Horse Race.

Proceeds from these events will go towards funding for programs of the chapter’s

charitable foundation, Metro East St. Louis Community Initiative (501c3). Those

programs include the following:

Webb/McDonald Scholarship Fund
Beautillion
Judge Ora Polk Oratorical Contest
